Item #4

4. Write a letter to my best friend.
So today is April 30th. One whole month of this project is gone. How many items have a completed? Four. BUT. Today my summer technically started. I took my last final, got rid of my books and returned my parking pass. Summer is really upon me now. I have all the time in the world!
As for this particular item, I wrote letters to my best friend since age 9: Jade. And a new best friend, Ryan. It was quite interesting because I realized how important it is to tell the people we love that we love them! We often just assume they know. It made me reevaluate how much they mean to me and it forced me to tell them just how awesome they are and how much I love and support them!

Hopefully next time, I will have more to show for myself... :)
Until then.

Item 3

Number 3 was "Go to a Park." This morning, Mom and I went to Clinton. I love to get some exercise with Mom, but I also really love talking. She and I are so similar, and she helps me to not feel so crazy! I love her so much!!

Item 2

Well, item 2 of my summer project: go to the Braves game! Tonight, I went with Ryan and my friend, Emily and her boyfriend, Cameron. Such a fun time!! Ryan caught TWO foul balls! Lucky duck!!

Slowly but surely, I'm marking things off the list!!

1. Plant Something
This lovely photo you are looking at is the very first item crossed off my list. Today is April 1st, and I hit the ground running! Today after church, Dad and I came home and planted watermelons, radishes, pumpkins and zinnias in these little planters. It seems perfect. I'm not sure if it was the healing and thought-provoking message at church this morning? Or the realization that a lot of changes are about to happen in my life? Or simply the fact that it's APRIL and so gorgeous outside today? But planting new life seemed like the perfect way to start off my list. To start learning new things. To start watching new things happen!
